This is not a foundation. This is just a family in need of help.
Bad things happen to good people and that is what happened to this family.
There home was wrecked by renters - police found drug residue (meth), animal urine, graffiti, debris, etc.
From my understanding the family that wrecked the home has no money, which is why they skipped out. The family that owns the home only wishes that it gets restored to it's new condition and nothing more.
Ideally, the renter's should clean up their mess. A hired contractor that stepped into the home vomitted due to the horrible odor!
I have gotten the TV News & Newspaper involved, but I had yet to consider monetary help since I am still waiting to be in a position to help them.
Below is an email that I have been sending out to generate awareness.

I have been submitting the following story to the media for a family in need. Do you think you could help or know someone who might? Any help that you would be willing to provide would be a blessing to this family and their children.
- Williamsburg Mini Home Makeover - Anyone?
I hope to find contractors, suppliers, lenders, medical help, etc. I am also getting newspapers and television involved to advertise what a community is willing to do to help its members.
Family of five, with a special needs child, are now homeless.
For about 7 years, the family were living in a lovely townhome in the beautiful Season's Trace. In 2006, they remodeled the home. Instead of selling the home right away, agreed to sign a "lease and purchase" contract with their next door neighbor's son and his pregnant wife who were just getting on their feet.
Then the family relocated to another state, to be closer to family, resting assured that their home was in good hands and it would be sold in the very near future allowing the proceeds to help them better care for their special needs daughter.
Unfortunately, they misjudged the character of the couple they signed the contract with and after destroying the home, the couple skipped out leaving the home in an unrentable, unlivable and unsellable condition.
Why is this particular situation a big deal? They invested what they had in the remodeling and now simply do not have any money to repair the home. The family were waiting to receive the proceeds from that home to help pay for the care of their special needs child, much of which is not paid for by insurance. To make matters worse, the mother is now struggling with health issues along with their daughter and desperately need to move back "home", but are unable to.
This wonderful family is now in the care of relatives, but no one has the expendable funds to repair their home. They are making mortgage payments on this home, which has now been vacant for about 9 months!
It would be such a blessing if someone could step up to the plate, represent humankind and just show this wonderful family that not everyone is like the renters they had.
I am crying. Their home is all that they have left and now it is destroyed. When they ever thought I had a need, there would be a grocery bags on my porch with bathroom tissue and diapers. I am unable to help them, but am hoping that their is someone in VA that is willing and able.
I am asking someone to bless this wonderful, deserving family and help them get back home.
If you have read this far and are interested in seeing photos of the home, please let me know!
Thank you for your time!
